Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the were Quest Holdings (AT:), which rose 2.72% or 0.14 points to trade at 5.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Quality and Reliability SA (AT:) added 1.95% or 0.02 points to end at 1.15 and Jumbo SA (AT:) was up 1.53% or 0.36 points to 23.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Public Power (AT:), which fell 2.62% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.15 at the close. National Bank of Greece SA (AT:) declined 2.49% or 0.19 points to end at 7.29 and Aegean Airlines (AT:) was down 2.45% or 0.27 points to 10.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 77 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.46% or 37.10 to $2,579.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.39% or 1.61 to hit $68.92 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 2.05% or 1.45 to trade at $72.06 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.25% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.04% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.58.
