Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the declined 6.27% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Crete Plastics SA (AT:), which rose 2.07% or 0.30 points to trade at 14.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Epsilon Net SA (AT:) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 12.00 and BLE Kedros Real Estate Investment (AT:) was down 0.28% or 0.01 points to 3.51 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Iktinos Hellas (AT:), which fell 11.14% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.35 at the close. Domiki Kritis SA (AT:) declined 10.95% or 0.41 points to end at 3.30 and J. & P. Avax (AT:) was down 10.18% or 0.14 points to 1.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 135 to 3 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Iktinos Hellas (AT:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 11.14% or 0.04 to 0.35.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.32% or 32.70 to $2,437.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.05% or 0.77 to hit $72.75 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.79% or 0.61 to trade at $76.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.65% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP rose 0.90% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.73% at 102.24.
