Kershaw’s third 2025 product release is upon us, bringing with it nine new models. There’s a lot to process and drool over, include two impressive new fixed blades and significant line expansions for the Bel Air and Launch series.

Pack Mule

Despite its humble name, the Pack Mule may be the headline act of this product reveal. It’s an all-purpose fixed blade with a 3.9-inch clip point profile, made from N690 steel. This is a full tang knife, of course, with a roomy handle design and black G-10 slab scales laid on top. It is made in the U.S.

Bel Air XL

The co-headliner with the Pack Mule, like that knife the Bel Air XL is a US-made piece. It’s a scaled up version of the standard Bel-Air, although with a blade length of 3.4 inches it’s certainly still a reasonable EDC. The blade steel is MagnaCut, so performance will be right where it needs to be for a premium Kershaw piece.

Atreides

Hmm, there must be a Herbert fan on the Kershaw team…the Atreides certainly looks ready for offworld adventuring with a 5.7-inch American tanto blade. It’s a hefty slab of 65Mn, a lesser-seen member of the 10XX family of carbon steels. The steel choice makes the Atreides a good candidate for fixed blade beater, and helps keep the price down too.

Launch 22

Kershaw’s Launch line continues to proliferate with three new additions to the lineup. The Launch 22 packs a 3.45-inch spearpoint made from MagnaCut into an OD green aluminum handle, off-set with eye-catching canvas Micarta inlays on each side.

Launch 23

The Launch 23, meanwhile, favors a monochrome look and a two-tone clip point blade shape. It’s just a tad smaller than the 22, with a 3.3-inch cutting edge, and the steel used for this one is a Launch line staple, CPM-154.

Raygun

The Raygun is the latest piece in the entry-level tier of Kershaw knives, with a sub-$40 price point. It is an assist-opening user with a 2.8-inch reverse tanto blade, made from 4Cr14MoV steel, and dressed in the black GFN scales that are emblematic of Kershaw’s newer budget-driven stuff.

Wrapping up

In addition to these significant additions, Kershaw’s third 2025 product reveal also had a few less drastic additions and variations. The Launch Iridium has a G-10 scale model now, and the (standard size) Bel Air clip version can now be had in a full blackout coloration. Last but not least, the Barricade, a budget-oriented rescue-style knife, returns with orange scales and a partially serrated blade.
