Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the were Melisron (TASE:), which rose 2.97% or 860.00 points to trade at 29,860.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) added 2.84% or 2,450.00 points to end at 88,700.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.75% or 50.00 points to 1,871.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:), which fell 4.38% or 3,950.00 points to trade at 86,130.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.16% or 53.00 points to end at 1,625.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.32% or 670.00 points to 28,240.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 216 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.84% or 2,450.00 to 88,700.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.34% or 0.96 to $72.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.21% or 0.91 to hit $75.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.55 to trade at $2,751.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.07% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 4.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 103.58.
