Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.58% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Nova (TASE:), which rose 6.89% or 4,900.00 points to trade at 76,010.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) added 4.21% or 780.00 points to end at 19,300.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 3.46% or 1,660.00 points to 49,600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:), which fell 1.86% or 47.00 points to trade at 2,483.00 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.25% or 380.00 points to end at 30,090.00 and Leumi (TASE:) was down 1.25% or 55.00 points to 4,333.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 320 to 150 and 66 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Group (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.46% or 1,660.00 to 49,600.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.29% or 1.64 to $73.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.06% or 1.54 to hit $76.18 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 26.89 to trade at $2,667.89 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 0.38% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 108.98.
