Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which rose 4.13% or 35.30 points to trade at 890.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) added 3.31% or 68.00 points to end at 2,121.00 and Harel (TASE:) was up 2.67% or 92.00 points to 3,534.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.25% or 690.00 points to trade at 29,960.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.56% or 1,000.00 points to end at 63,000.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was down 1.54% or 670.00 points to 42,780.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 184 and 92 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.24% or 0.91 to $72.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.35% or 1.04 to hit $76.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 6.10 to trade at $2,629.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.11% to 4.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 102.60.
