Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.96% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 6.21% or 1,870.00 points to trade at 32,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 5.10% or 3,740.00 points to end at 77,100.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.37% or 2,950.00 points to 90,400.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.17% or 560.00 points to trade at 17,130.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:) declined 2.20% or 690.00 points to end at 30,640.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) was down 1.66% or 43.00 points to 2,555.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 287 to 173 and 79 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) rose to all time highs; up 3.37% or 2,950.00 to 90,400.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.19% or 0.13 to $68.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.21% or 0.15 to hit $71.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 11.30 to trade at $2,606.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 105.89.
