Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Nova (TASE:), which rose 3.84% or 3,440.00 points to trade at 92,940.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:) added 2.72% or 1,010.00 points to end at 38,210.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.41% or 51.00 points to 2,167.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:), which fell 5.84% or 365.00 points to trade at 5,885.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:) declined 4.26% or 53.00 points to end at 1,192.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.92% or 2,110.00 points to 107,680.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 293 to 161 and 82 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.16% or 0.12 to $75.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.16% or 0.13 to hit $79.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 12.04 to trade at $2,771.24 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.61% to 3.53, while EUR/ILS fell 0.68% to 3.68.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 107.98.
