Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:), which rose 3.01% or 275.00 points to trade at 9,398.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) added 1.31% or 60.00 points to end at 4,636.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) was up 0.90% or 69.00 points to 7,729.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 4.42% or 1,690.00 points to trade at 36,520.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.53% or 1,480.00 points to end at 56,970.00 and Nova (TASE:) was down 2.52% or 2,340.00 points to 90,600.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 281 to 165 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in NICE Ltd (TASE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.53% or 1,480.00 to 56,970.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.30% or 0.23 to $75.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $79.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 18.59 to trade at $2,752.31 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.22% to 3.58, while EUR/ILS rose 1.08% to 3.72.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 108.17.
