Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the were Energix (TASE:), which rose 0.85% or 11.00 points to trade at 1,309.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:) added 0.30% or 80.00 points to end at 27,090.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was up 0.25% or 40.00 points to 15,980.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:), which fell 6.50% or 242.00 points to trade at 3,480.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.96% or 1,360.00 points to end at 32,950.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.99% or 1,940.00 points to 62,840.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 183 and 105 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.25% or 40.00 to 15,980.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.98% or 2.26 to $73.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.40% or 1.89 to hit $76.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 24.30 to trade at $2,536.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.82% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS fell 0.99% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 101.62.
