Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the rose 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the were Saipem SpA (BIT:), which rose 3.35% or 0.07 points to trade at 2.07 at the close. Meanwhile, Ferrari NV (BIT:) added 2.54% or 10.70 points to end at 431.40 and Recordati (BIT:) was up 2.37% or 1.20 points to 51.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telecom Italia (BIT:), which unchanged 0.73% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.23 at the close. Hera (BIT:) declined 0.59% or 0.02 points to end at 3.38 and Snam SpA (BIT:) was down 0.41% or 0.02 points to 4.37.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 284 to 176 and 59 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ferrari NV (BIT:) rose to all time highs; rising 2.54% or 10.70 to 431.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.04% or 0.76 to $72.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.79% or 0.61 to hit $76.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 4.85 to trade at $2,545.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.18% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 101.05.
