Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Ferrari NV (BIT:), which rose 2.40% or 10.10 points to trade at 430.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Stellantis NV (BIT:) added 2.29% or 0.31 points to end at 13.78 and Hera (BIT:) was up 1.69% or 0.06 points to 3.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were UniCredit SpA (BIT:), which fell 3.32% or 1.26 points to trade at 36.74 at the close. Banco Bpm SpA (BIT:) declined 2.59% or 0.16 points to end at 5.95 and Banca Popolare di Sondrio ScpA (BIT:) was down 2.02% or 0.14 points to 6.78.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 268 to 217 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.56% or 1.11 to $69.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.30% or 0.96 to hit $72.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.70 to trade at $2,653.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.56% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.56.
