Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Stellantis NV (BIT:), which rose 2.93% or 0.36 points to trade at 12.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Nexi SpA (BIT:) added 1.72% or 0.10 points to end at 5.80 and Tenaris SA (BIT:) was up 0.90% or 0.14 points to 15.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ERG (BIT:), which fell 3.19% or 0.68 points to trade at 20.64 at the close. STMicroelectronics (BIT:) declined 2.82% or 0.73 points to end at 25.03 and Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT:) was down 2.34% or 0.15 points to 6.18.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 342 to 137 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in ERG (BIT:) fell to 3-years lows; down 3.19% or 0.68 to 20.64. Shares in Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.34% or 0.15 to 6.18.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.76% or 0.52 to $69.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.65% or 0.47 to hit $72.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.74% or 48.70 to trade at $2,752.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.78% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.03.
