Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Gruma SAB de CV (BMV:), which rose 4.39% or 15.38 points to trade at 365.31 at the close. Meanwhile, Megacable Holdings, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) added 4.27% or 1.84 points to end at 44.73 and Grupo Financiero Inbursa , SAB De CV (BMV:) was up 3.37% or 1.43 points to 43.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:), which fell 2.22% or 0.23 points to trade at 10.07 at the close. Orbia Advance Corporation SAB de CV (BMV:) declined 2.11% or 0.49 points to end at 22.74 and Bolsa Mexicana De Valores SAB De CV (BMV:) was down 2.05% or 0.59 points to 28.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 169 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.50% or 12.30 to $2,432.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $72.96 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.20% or 0.15 to trade at $76.19 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.03% to 19.57, while EUR/MXN fell 0.04% to 21.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 102.69.
