Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:), which rose 1.92% or 0.15 points to trade at 7.93 at the close. Meanwhile, Kimberly – Clark De Mexico A (BMV:) added 0.96% or 0.31 points to end at 32.35 and Fomento Economico Mexicano UBD (BMV:) was up 0.80% or 1.63 points to 206.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Corporacion Inmobiliaria Vesta SAB (BMV:), which fell 4.74% or 2.63 points to trade at 52.95 at the close. Grupo Financiero Inbursa , SAB De CV (BMV:) declined 3.15% or 1.48 points to end at 45.66 and Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) was down 3.14% or 2.20 points to 67.81.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 150 to 83 and 8 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.19% or 4.80 to $2,560.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.14% or 1.66 to hit $75.76 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.08% or 0.06 to trade at $78.97 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.09% to 19.77, while EUR/MXN rose 0.03% to 22.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.46.
