Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Industrias Penoles Sab De CV (BMV:), which rose 5.07% or 13.33 points to trade at 276.39 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex SAB de CV (BMV:) added 2.60% or 0.32 points to end at 12.65 and Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) was up 2.55% or 0.35 points to 14.09 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:), which fell 5.25% or 3.68 points to trade at 66.43 at the close. Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:) declined 4.43% or 0.39 points to end at 8.41 and Grupo Financiero Inbursa , SAB De CV (BMV:) was down 4.09% or 1.91 points to 44.76.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 115 to 108 and 19 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.25% or 32.60 to $2,647.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $71.25 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.23% or 0.17 to trade at $74.71 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.59% to 19.41, while EUR/MXN rose 0.48% to 21.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.45.
