Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the rose 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the were CTM (CSE:), which rose 8.66% or 55.00 points to trade at 690.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE:) added 5.87% or 54.00 points to end at 974.00 and Micro Data SA (CSE:) was up 2.89% or 18.00 points to 640.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CSE:), which fell 6.19% or 6.80 points to trade at 103.00 at the close. Total Maroc SA (CSE:) declined 3.16% or 49.00 points to end at 1,500.00 and Atlanta (CSE:) was down 2.58% or 3.40 points to 128.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 30 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.56% or 1.07 to $69.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.22% or 0.88 to hit $73.07 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 34.49 to trade at $2,752.89 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.60% to 10.47, while USD/MAD fell 0.49% to 9.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.19.
