Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Jet Contractors (CSE:), which rose 9.91% or 105.00 points to trade at 1,165.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Taqa Morocco SA (CSE:) added 2.76% or 40.00 points to end at 1,490.00 and Hps (CSE:) was up 2.61% or 15.00 points to 590.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Societe des Boissons du Maroc SA (CSE:), which fell 5.59% or 142.00 points to trade at 2,400.00 at the close. Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE:) declined 4.50% or 43.00 points to end at 912.00 and Fenie Brossette (CSE:) was down 3.80% or 4.15 points to 105.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 19 and 5 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.33% or 0.98 to $74.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.16% or 0.90 to hit $78.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 8.85 to trade at $2,688.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.01% to 10.79, while USD/MAD rose 0.08% to 9.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 102.29.
