Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the gained 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the were Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:), which rose 9.99% or 49.05 points to trade at 540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:) added 9.98% or 4.05 points to end at 44.65 and Fenie Brossette (CSE:) was up 9.95% or 9.75 points to 107.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Colorado (CSE:), which fell 3.85% or 2.00 points to trade at 50.00 at the close. SMI (CSE:) declined 3.08% or 70.00 points to end at 2,200.00 and Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE:) was down 1.56% or 7.90 points to 500.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 17 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.57% or 1.21 to $78.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.72% or 1.37 to hit $81.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 14.85 to trade at $2,494.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.35% to 10.76, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.03% to 9.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 102.74.
