Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca , the fell 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:), which rose 4.69% or 3.38 points to trade at 75.48 at the close. Meanwhile, CTM (CSE:) added 4.61% or 28.70 points to end at 651.90 and Disty Technologies SA (CSE:) was up 3.71% or 8.95 points to 249.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Travaux Generaux De Construction De Casablanca S.A (CSE:), which fell 5.15% or 25.50 points to trade at 470.00 at the close. Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:) declined 5.07% or 2.46 points to end at 46.02 and Auto Hall (CSE:) was down 4.64% or 3.02 points to 62.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 25 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Auto Hall (CSE:) fell to 3-years lows; down 4.64% or 3.02 to 62.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.31% or 0.90 to $69.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.69% or 0.50 to hit $73.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 13.06 to trade at $2,677.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.09% to 10.57, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 10.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 105.94.
