The best performers of the session on the were Adyen NV (AS:), which rose 3.32% or 36.40 points to trade at 1,134.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Randstad NV (AS:) added 1.29% or 0.53 points to end at 41.63 and ASM International NV (AS:) was up 1.15% or 6.60 points to 579.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which fell 1.72% or 0.35 points to trade at 19.77 at the close. Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:) declined 0.92% or 0.24 points to end at 25.82 and IMCD NV (AS:) was down 0.40% or 0.55 points to 137.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 51 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.24% or 1.79 to $78.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.00% or 1.65 to hit $80.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.80 to trade at $2,508.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.25% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.22% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 102.68.
