Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the rose 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the were Adyen NV (AS:), which rose 2.40% or 30.60 points to trade at 1,303.20 at the close. Meanwhile, ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:) added 2.10% or 0.32 points to end at 15.54 and ASM International NV (AS:) was up 1.49% or 7.60 points to 516.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Universal Music Group NV (AS:), which fell 1.31% or 0.31 points to trade at 23.40 at the close. ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) declined 0.63% or 0.15 points to end at 23.76 and Prosus (AS:) was down 0.29% or 0.11 points to 38.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 69 to 28 and 11 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.94% or 2.07 to $68.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.64% or 1.95 to hit $71.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.75% or 74.15 to trade at $2,620.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.60% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 105.43.
