Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the gained 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the were Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:), which rose 4.43% or 1.25 points to trade at 29.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Akzo Nobel NV (AS:) added 3.84% or 2.38 points to end at 64.40 and Randstad NV (AS:) was up 3.46% or 1.50 points to 44.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Relx PLC (AS:), which fell 0.70% or 0.30 points to trade at 42.80 at the close. Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:) declined 0.60% or 0.02 points to end at 3.67 and ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:) was down 0.55% or 0.09 points to 16.37.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 70 to 32 and 8 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.93% or 0.63 to $68.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.70% or 0.50 to hit $71.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 24.50 to trade at $2,670.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.20.
