Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the rose 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the were Relx PLC (AS:), which rose 1.90% or 0.82 points to trade at 43.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Prosus (AS:) added 1.62% or 0.55 points to end at 34.21 and Exor NV (AS:) was up 1.54% or 1.50 points to 98.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:), which fell 3.90% or 4.35 points to trade at 107.25 at the close. ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:) declined 1.83% or 0.30 points to end at 16.09 and Randstad NV (AS:) was down 1.16% or 0.51 points to 43.49.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 52 to 45 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Relx PLC (AS:) rose to all time highs; rising 1.90% or 0.82 to 43.94.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.51% or 1.07 to $69.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.28% or 0.94 to hit $72.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 8.75 to trade at $2,654.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.56% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.56.
