Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the rose 0.67% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Akzo Nobel NV (AS:), which rose 4.01% or 2.22 points to trade at 57.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Adyen NV (AS:) added 2.54% or 35.00 points to end at 1,413.40 and Prosus (AS:) was up 2.00% or 0.77 points to 39.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aegon Ltd (AS:), which fell 0.95% or 0.06 points to trade at 6.04 at the close. Exor NV (AS:) declined 0.85% or 0.80 points to end at 92.85 and NN Group NV (AS:) was down 0.75% or 0.33 points to 43.64.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 51 to 41 and 17 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $67.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.35% or 0.25 to hit $71.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 18.51 to trade at $2,662.49 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.85% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 106.47.
