Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the rose 0.72% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were IMCD NV (AS:), which rose 3.17% or 4.45 points to trade at 145.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Prosus (AS:) added 1.98% or 0.68 points to end at 35.09 and Exor NV (AS:) was up 1.94% or 1.75 points to 91.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASML Holding NV (AS:), which fell 0.85% or 6.30 points to trade at 739.10 at the close. ING Groep NV (AS:) declined 0.51% or 0.08 points to end at 15.88 and BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:) was down 0.47% or 0.70 points to 147.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 74 to 22 and 12 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.27% or 0.21 to $77.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.17% or 0.14 to hit $81.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.84 to trade at $2,754.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.03, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.39% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 109.13.
