Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the rose 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Prosus (AS:), which rose 3.37% or 1.12 points to trade at 34.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Randstad NV (AS:) added 2.66% or 1.16 points to end at 44.75 and Adyen NV (AS:) was up 2.64% or 29.80 points to 1,158.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:), which fell 0.56% or 0.09 points to trade at 15.91 at the close. NN Group NV (AS:) declined 0.42% or 0.19 points to end at 44.87 and Heineken (AS:) was down 0.11% or 0.10 points to 89.34.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 65 to 39 and 8 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.12% or 0.10 to $82.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.20% or 0.17 to hit $85.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 3.50 to trade at $2,418.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.23% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 103.80.
