Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Adyen NV (AS:), which rose 12.02% or 136.80 points to trade at 1,275.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ASM International NV (AS:) added 4.23% or 24.60 points to end at 606.20 and ASML Holding NV (AS:) was up 4.09% or 32.70 points to 832.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NN Group NV (AS:), which fell 2.19% or 1.00 points to trade at 44.60 at the close. DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) declined 1.81% or 2.10 points to end at 114.20 and Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:) was down 0.47% or 0.02 points to 3.57.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 71 to 29 and 8 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.75% or 1.35 to $78.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.83% or 1.46 to hit $81.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 16.15 to trade at $2,495.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.49% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 102.72.
