Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:), which rose 0.87% or 0.03 points to trade at 3.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Unilever PLC (AS:) added 0.59% or 0.30 points to end at 51.50 and Wolters Kluwer (AS:) was up 0.52% or 0.80 points to 153.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Adyen NV (AS:), which fell 2.99% or 34.00 points to trade at 1,104.20 at the close. Universal Music Group NV (AS:) declined 1.50% or 0.42 points to end at 27.61 and Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:) was down 1.46% or 0.36 points to 24.29.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 53 to 50 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:) rose to 5-year highs; up 0.87% or 0.03 to 3.62.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.97% or 0.81 to $82.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.87% or 0.75 to hit $85.79 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.60% or 38.45 to trade at $2,359.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 104.62.
