Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Randstad NV (AS:), which rose 2.36% or 1.02 points to trade at 44.17 at the close. Meanwhile, Aegon Ltd (AS:) added 1.53% or 0.09 points to end at 5.96 and ASML Holding NV (AS:) was up 1.40% or 9.20 points to 666.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IMCD NV (AS:), which fell 2.67% or 4.10 points to trade at 149.35 at the close. DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) declined 1.89% or 2.20 points to end at 114.20 and Relx PLC (AS:) was down 1.27% or 0.56 points to 43.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 53 to 48 and 9 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.78% or 1.95 to $71.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.57% or 1.91 to hit $76.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 14.15 to trade at $2,753.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.90.
