Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were IMCD NV (AS:), which rose 3.66% or 5.20 points to trade at 147.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Randstad NV (AS:) added 2.09% or 0.89 points to end at 43.39 and ASM International NV (AS:) was up 1.77% or 9.00 points to 517.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV (AS:), which fell 2.26% or 0.75 points to trade at 32.50 at the close. Aegon Ltd (AS:) declined 1.42% or 0.09 points to end at 6.11 and ASR Nederland NV (AS:) was down 0.96% or 0.45 points to 46.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 59 to 41 and 10 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.22% or 0.83 to $67.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.04% or 0.75 to hit $71.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 12.16 to trade at $2,660.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 106.01.
