Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were NN Group NV (AS:), which rose 1.16% or 0.52 points to trade at 45.28 at the close. Meanwhile, ING Groep NV (AS:) added 0.84% or 0.13 points to end at 15.78 and ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:) was up 0.67% or 0.11 points to 15.83 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASM International NV (AS:), which fell 4.12% or 24.60 points to trade at 571.80 at the close. BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:) declined 2.55% or 2.85 points to end at 108.90 and Adyen NV (AS:) was down 2.22% or 31.00 points to 1,366.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 64 to 38 and 9 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.02% or 2.21 to $75.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.06% or 2.34 to hit $78.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 16.95 to trade at $2,642.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 102.72.
