Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the lost 0.50% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were IMCD NV (AS:), which rose 5.96% or 8.60 points to trade at 152.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Universal Music Group NV (AS:) added 1.98% or 0.46 points to end at 23.71 and Relx PLC (AS:) was up 1.50% or 0.66 points to 44.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Adyen NV (AS:), which fell 4.73% or 63.20 points to trade at 1,272.60 at the close. Randstad NV (AS:) declined 3.49% or 1.52 points to end at 42.00 and Prosus (AS:) was down 2.57% or 1.01 points to 38.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 54 to 43 and 9 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.94% or 2.13 to $70.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.55% or 1.93 to hit $73.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 11.85 to trade at $2,693.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.96% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.25% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 105.01.
