Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the lost 1.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:), which rose 1.26% or 0.34 points to trade at 27.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Relx PLC (AS:) added 0.87% or 0.36 points to end at 41.70 and NN Group NV (AS:) was up 0.54% or 0.24 points to 44.89 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASML Holding NV (AS:), which fell 5.42% or 39.00 points to trade at 681.00 at the close. Randstad NV (AS:) declined 3.58% or 1.56 points to end at 42.00 and BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:) was down 3.26% or 3.50 points to 103.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 80 to 20 and 8 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.11% or 1.46 to $67.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.10% or 1.53 to hit $71.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 13.10 to trade at $2,530.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 101.20.
