Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Unilever PLC (AS:), which fell 0.04% or 0.02 points to trade at 56.62 at the close. Meanwhile, DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) fell 0.08% or 0.10 points to end at 117.95 and Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:) was down 0.19% or 0.01 points to 3.63 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:), which fell 5.24% or 0.85 points to trade at 15.27 at the close. ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) declined 4.54% or 0.95 points to end at 19.99 and ING Groep NV (AS:) was down 3.86% or 0.65 points to 16.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 75 to 24 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) fell to 3-years lows; down 4.54% or 0.95 to 19.99.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.81% or 0.63 to $77.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.58% or 0.47 to hit $80.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 17.00 to trade at $2,490.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.33% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 104.11.
