Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the added 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the were Mowi ASA (OL:), which rose 2.71% or 5.00 points to trade at 189.30 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:) added 1.67% or 10.50 points to end at 638.50 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:) was up 1.33% or 0.90 points to 68.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL:), which fell 2.32% or 7.05 points to trade at 296.95 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:) declined 1.62% or 4.20 points to end at 255.00 and Frontline Ltd (OL:) was down 1.02% or 2.60 points to 253.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 152 to 131 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.30% or 1.04 to $79.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.29% or 1.06 to hit $81.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.55 to trade at $2,511.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.11% to 11.80, while USD/NOK fell 0.30% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 102.71.
