Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:), which rose 5.30% or 3.30 points to trade at 65.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) added 4.78% or 6.15 points to end at 134.80 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) was up 2.66% or 0.32 points to 12.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:), which fell 2.77% or 2.90 points to trade at 101.90 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:) declined 2.33% or 12.50 points to end at 524.00 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) was down 2.10% or 22.00 points to 1,028.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 137 to 133 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.88% or 1.32 to $71.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.76% or 1.29 to hit $74.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.10 to trade at $2,668.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.22% to 11.63, while USD/NOK fell 0.44% to 10.43.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 100.31.
