Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the gained 0.30% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Tomra Systems ASA (OL:), which rose 10.66% or 15.10 points to trade at 156.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:) added 5.30% or 0.16 points to end at 3.12 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) was up 4.49% or 0.49 points to 11.29 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:), which fell 3.48% or 4.60 points to trade at 127.60 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:) declined 3.39% or 1.52 points to end at 43.26 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:) was down 2.87% or 1.75 points to 59.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 164 to 116 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.95% or 2.10 to $69.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.79% or 2.08 to hit $72.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 3.00% or 82.10 to trade at $2,655.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.80% to 11.64, while USD/NOK rose 0.25% to 11.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 106.92.
