Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the were Frontline Ltd (OL:), which rose 2.60% or 6.80 points to trade at 268.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) added 1.47% or 16.00 points to end at 1,106.00 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) was up 1.33% or 1.70 points to 129.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:), which fell 4.53% or 3.20 points to trade at 67.40 at the close. Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:) declined 2.52% or 3.30 points to end at 127.60 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:) was down 1.78% or 2.80 points to 154.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 155 to 133 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.01% or 1.57 to $76.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.73% or 1.40 to hit $79.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.35% or 33.60 to trade at $2,526.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.79, while USD/NOK fell 0.12% to 10.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 102.62.
