Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the added 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the were Nel ASA (OL:), which rose 6.13% or 0.33 points to trade at 5.71 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:) added 3.03% or 17.50 points to end at 595.00 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) was up 2.56% or 3.10 points to 124.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yara International ASA (OL:), which fell 1.26% or 3.70 points to trade at 290.80 at the close. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:) declined 0.43% or 0.55 points to end at 126.85 and Frontline Ltd (OL:) was down 0.16% or 0.40 points to 246.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 224 to 63 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.29% or 0.94 to $73.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.04% or 0.79 to hit $77.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 15.30 to trade at $2,429.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 1.14% to 11.93, while USD/NOK fell 0.92% to 10.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 102.71.
