Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the rose 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the were Equinor ASA (OL:), which rose 3.19% or 9.40 points to trade at 304.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:) added 2.88% or 1.90 points to end at 67.80 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:) was up 2.49% or 2.90 points to 119.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which fell 1.99% or 0.11 points to trade at 5.52 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:) declined 0.50% or 1.50 points to end at 298.30 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:) was down 0.25% or 0.35 points to 137.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 183 to 106 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.90% or 1.46 to $78.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.47% or 1.17 to hit $80.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 19.70 to trade at $2,493.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.32% to 11.77, while USD/NOK fell 0.19% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.00.
