Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:), which rose 3.19% or 3.60 points to trade at 116.60 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:) added 2.76% or 3.40 points to end at 126.80 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) was up 2.40% or 3.05 points to 130.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which fell 5.54% or 0.32 points to trade at 5.42 at the close. Equinor ASA (OL:) declined 0.99% or 2.85 points to end at 284.90 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) was down 0.91% or 10.00 points to 1,088.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 142 to 141 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.15% or 0.11 to $73.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.30% or 0.23 to hit $77.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 10.20 to trade at $2,540.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 11.69, while USD/NOK rose 0.22% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 101.24.
