Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:), which rose 2.09% or 2.90 points to trade at 141.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:) added 1.66% or 2.20 points to end at 135.00 and Var Energi ASA (OL:) was up 1.60% or 0.52 points to 32.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which fell 11.07% or 0.61 points to trade at 4.93 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:) declined 5.76% or 14.40 points to end at 235.60 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:) was down 5.40% or 4.40 points to 77.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 161 to 113 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.31% or 0.22 to $70.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.41% or 0.31 to hit $74.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 24.85 to trade at $2,639.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.19% to 11.73, while USD/NOK rose 0.44% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 100.65.
