Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the declined 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:), which rose 4.56% or 6.15 points to trade at 141.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:) added 4.01% or 0.24 points to end at 6.12 and Equinor ASA (OL:) was up 0.05% or 0.15 points to 290.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:), which fell 3.86% or 0.44 points to trade at 10.95 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:) declined 2.22% or 1.34 points to end at 59.06 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:) was down 2.11% or 3.80 points to 176.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 162 to 116 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.01% or 0.79 to $77.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.73% or 0.59 to hit $80.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 20.30 to trade at $2,493.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.46% to 11.76, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.03% to 10.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 104.10.
