Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the added 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the were Cyfrowy Polsat SA (WA:), which rose 2.35% or 0.30 points to trade at 13.09 at the close. Meanwhile, Kruk SA (WA:) added 2.35% or 10.40 points to end at 453.40 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) was up 2.13% or 0.54 points to 25.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Allegro (WA:), which fell 2.25% or 0.88 points to trade at 38.27 at the close. LPP SA (WA:) declined 0.94% or 140.00 points to end at 14,790.00 and Bank Millennium SA (WA:) was down 0.94% or 0.09 points to 8.93.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 265 to 252 and 101 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.64% or 0.48 to $75.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.75% or 0.60 to hit $79.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.65 to trade at $2,540.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.15% to 4.27, while USD/PLN fell 0.19% to 3.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 101.84.
