Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the gained 1.68%.
The best performers of the session on the were Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA (WA:), which rose 5.80% or 2.27 points to trade at 41.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Dino Polska SA (WA:) added 3.86% or 11.70 points to end at 315.00 and mBank SA (WA:) was up 3.53% or 22.40 points to 656.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:), which fell 1.12% or 9.00 points to trade at 795.00 at the close. Enea SA (WA:) declined 1.11% or 0.12 points to end at 10.68 and Asseco Poland SA (WA:) was down 1.06% or 0.95 points to 88.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 256 to 239 and 110 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.48% or 1.02 to $70.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.22% or 0.89 to hit $73.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 17.70 to trade at $2,591.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was unchanged 0.04% to 4.27, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.09% to 3.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.61.
