Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA (WA:), which rose 5.34% or 7.25 points to trade at 142.90 at the close. Meanwhile, LPP SA (WA:) added 4.34% or 680.00 points to end at 16,340.00 and Text SA (WA:) was up 4.03% or 2.50 points to 64.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were X Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski SA (WA:), which fell 0.68% or 0.48 points to trade at 70.34 at the close. Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) declined 0.31% or 0.08 points to end at 25.44 and Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 3.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 264 to 261 and 99 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $67.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.14% or 0.10 to hit $71.74 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 17.21 to trade at $2,663.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.19% to 4.29, while USD/PLN rose 0.61% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 106.46.
