Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Dino Polska SA (WA:), which rose 14.20% or 49.00 points to trade at 394.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Eurocash SA (WA:) added 3.53% or 0.30 points to end at 8.79 and Enea SA (WA:) was up 2.14% or 0.24 points to 11.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:), which fell 3.40% or 24.50 points to trade at 695.50 at the close. KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:) declined 3.17% or 4.80 points to end at 146.65 and Text SA (WA:) was down 2.97% or 1.70 points to 55.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 255 to 247 and 115 ended unchanged.
Shares in Text SA (WA:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.97% or 1.70 to 55.50.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.94% or 2.13 to $70.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.54% or 1.92 to hit $73.71 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.95 to trade at $2,692.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.43% to 4.33, while USD/PLN rose 1.19% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 104.84.
