Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the fell 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the were Grupa Azoty SA (WA:), which rose 3.48% or 0.70 points to trade at 20.80 at the close. Meanwhile, mBank SA (WA:) added 1.89% or 12.40 points to end at 669.20 and Bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA (WA:) was up 0.43% or 0.65 points to 150.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Text SA (WA:), which fell 3.26% or 2.40 points to trade at 71.20 at the close. Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:) declined 2.26% or 18.00 points to end at 777.00 and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WA:) was down 1.95% or 0.14 points to 7.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 252 to 238 and 114 ended unchanged.
Shares in Text SA (WA:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 3.26% or 2.40 to 71.20.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.79% or 0.55 to $69.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.84% or 0.62 to hit $73.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.15 to trade at $2,597.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was unchanged 0.06% to 4.27, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.07% to 3.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 100.62.
