Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the lost 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the were Allegro (WA:), which rose 2.66% or 0.91 points to trade at 35.12 at the close. Meanwhile, Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) added 1.34% or 0.35 points to end at 26.50 and Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:) was up 1.15% or 8.00 points to 705.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alior Bank SA (WA:), which fell 4.48% or 4.24 points to trade at 90.36 at the close. Pepco Group Nv (WA:) declined 3.53% or 0.61 points to end at 16.56 and BUDIMEX SA (WA:) was down 3.08% or 15.40 points to 484.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 314 to 207 and 105 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pepco Group Nv (WA:) fell to all time lows; losing 3.53% or 0.61 to 16.56. Shares in BUDIMEX SA (WA:) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.08% or 15.40 to 484.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.22% or 0.15 to $68.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.25% or 0.18 to hit $72.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.50 to trade at $2,593.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.17% to 4.34, while USD/PLN rose 0.30% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 106.28.
